2 drivers hurt in Findlay crash

Drivers from Findlay and Mount Blanchard were injured in a two-car collision Friday afternoon at the intersection of South Blanchard and Second streets, Findlay police reported.
Kyle Wetler, 29, of Findlay, and Jennifer McDaniel, 43, of Mount Blanchard, were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance with apparent minor injuries, police said.
A juvenile passenger in McDaniel’s car was not hurt, police said.
Police said Wetler was driving a 2007 Saturn Aura south on South Blanchard, and McDaniel was eastbound on Second Street in a 2018 Ford Fusion. McDaniel failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with Wetler’s Saturn about 4:20 p.m., police said.
McDaniel was cited for failure to yield, police said.
Both vehicles were disabled and were removed by Dick’s Towing. The Findlay Fire Department assisted at the accident scene.
