KENTON — A Kenton man has been arrested in connection with a series of four arson fires in the city over the weekend, according to radio station WKTN in Kenton.
Police Chief Dennis Musser said Dustin Cannode, 30, was taken into custody on a parole violation late Wednesday afternoon at a Kenton residence. Charges connected to the arson fires are pending, the radio station reported.
Four fires were set at homes on Leighton, Walnut, Tracey and Leonard streets between 2:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. Saturday, according to the radio station.
Two of the homes were occupied, but no one was injured.
Musser credited Detective Mike Conley and the Hardin County Fire and Explosion Team for their investigation into the fires.
