Auto parts maker Mitec won Findlay City Planning Commission approval this week of plans for an addition to its plant at 4000 Fostoria Ave.
The 54,180-square-foot addition is expected to occur by year-end. The company a year ago said it would be building an addition and adding 80 jobs by 2020.
That would bring its total employment to 200.
The Germany-based maker of engine and transmission parts has added Honda, in Marysville, to its list of customers, which already included General Motors. The existing Mitec plant has about 100,000 square feet of space.
Mitec began operations at the former Findlay Industries plant in 2012.
