Agricultural group picks former Findlay resident as new CEO

ST. LOUIS The U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance has selected former Findlay resident Erin Fitzgerald as its new chief executive officer, effective July 16.

Fitzgerald grew up in Findlay and is the daughter of Dennis Fitzgerald, partner in the Fitzgerald & Mihalik law firm.

She was formerly the senior vice president of global sustainability for the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy.

The U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance, based near St. Louis, is a coalition of farmer- and rancher-led organizations and agricultural partners, formed in 2010 to facilitate dialogue between the farming and ranching industry and consumers.

American farmers and ranchers have an incredible legacy and will define the sustainable food systems of the future. I am grateful for the privilege to continue to work for the farmers across the United States who are committed to stewardship and inspire a sustainable future, Erin Fitzgerald said.

By creating a shared dialogue, from our farms to our consumers, we have a tremendous opportunity to advance the food systems of our future, she said.
