A craft beer brewery and bar will be coming to Findlays Carriage House Plaza on Tiffin Avenue by year-end.
The business, called Crafted, will brew its own beers initially, but it hopes to eventually sell beer made by other craft breweries, said Yvette Mundy, co-owner.
Crafted will be next door to Vapor Emporium, 1016 Tiffin Ave., Suite A, which she and her husband, Jamie, own.
Findlay City Planning Commission on Thursday approved a zoning-related request allowing the brewery/bar.
We will have rotating beers. They are going to be small-batch beers, so its going to be rotating beers, Yvette Mundy said.
In addition, people will be allowed to make their own craft beers at Crafted.
It should be fun, she said.
Outside, a food truck will serve food gastro-pub style, which means the food will be prepared in an upscale, reimagined way. Crafteds food truck will have a revolving menu. Guest chefs will make their own menu items.
Patrons will be able to eat and drink inside the dining area, seating 45-50.
Crafted non-alcoholic drinks also will be served.
