NEW YORK (AP) — People are paying their respects to Philip Seymour Hoffman at a wake in Manhattan.

The wake is being held at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home. It has orchestrated funerals for celebrities including Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and James Cagney.

Police are investigating Hoffman’s death as a suspected drug overdose. The 46-year-old actor was found dead Sunday in his Greenwich Village apartment.

A private funeral for relatives and close friends of Hoffman is set for Friday. A larger memorial service will be held later this month.
