The Fort Findlay Playhouse will present the zany comedy “Boeing Boeing” on April 20-23 and April 27-29.

Evening performances start promptly at 8 p.m., and Sunday matinees will start at 5 p.m. Unsold seats will be available on a cash-only basis at the door 30 minutes before curtain time.

The French farce adapted for the American stage was written by Marc Camoletti and received a Tony Award for Best Revival in 2008. It was also a popular movie starring Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis in 1965.

Set in the swinging sixties, it tells the story of self-styled Parisian lothario Bernard (m James Foust) who, like having a girl in every port, has a fiancee in three different cities.
Balancing the three lovely ladies takes some skill, but Bernard pulls it off for a while as all three are flight attendants with different layover times. But with one unexpected switch in schedules and the faster new Boeing jet, Gabrielle (Megan Meyer), Gloria (Laurie Dye) and Gretchen (Casey Wurm) all end up in Bernard’s apartment on the same day, with Berthe the housekeeper (Sarah Olesky) to greet them there.

Bernard’s old school chum Robert (Wes Taylor) tries to help, but with Robert forgetting which lie he told to which girl, catastrophe and comedy ensue.

Tickets go on sale to the public Monday for $12 each. They can be purchased through, by phone at 567-525-3636 or in person at the Playhouse box office, 300 W. Sandusky St. Reservations must be paid at the time of ordering tickets. Phone reservations can be paid with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express and can be sent by email to print at home or display on a mobile device.

The show is produced in association with Samuel French.
