Blanchard Avenue Pentecostal Church of God
The monthly Weston Price Nutritional Seminar will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Blanchard Avenue Pentecostal Church of God, 1701 Blanchard Ave.
Dr. Wayne Fiester will lecture on vitamin D. The lecture will include food preparation demonstrations.
St. Wendelin Roman Catholic
FOSTORIA — St. Wendelin Parish, Fostoria, will offer “New Life Journey,” a program for those who are separated or divorced, beginning Sunday and continuing for 13 weeks.
Sessions will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sundays at St. Wendelin’s Upper Room, 323 N. Wood St., Fostoria. Participants may join at any time during the 13 weeks.
Topics will include facing anger, depression, loneliness, financial survival, new relationships, how divorce affects children, forgiveness and moving on.
The ecumenical program is open to anyone regardless of faith denomination. The cost is $20 for materials with financial assistance available. Registration may be made at the door or by calling Bonnie Valenti at 419-937-1015 or Keith Koehler at 419-294-4070.
Unitarian Universalist
The Unitarian Universalist Church, 2415 N. Main St., will hold its annual Remembering the Old and Celebrating the New service at 10 a.m. Sunday.
The service will honor those who have died and celebrate babies’ births of the last year. The message will be “Three Resolutions for a Happier Year.”
The service will close with a “fire communion” to send away the regrets of the previous year.
Winebrenner Theological Seminary
Winebrenner Theological Seminary, 950 N. Main St., will host the “Beyond the Global Leadership Summit” from noon to 1:15 p.m. Jan. 14.
The topic,”Leading Change,” will be discussed by three panelists: Katherine Fell, president of the University of Findlay; Craig Cramer, teaching pastor, Gateway Church; and John Bookmyer, CEO, Pain Management Group. They will address change in the areas of education, church leadership and business.
There is no cost to attend, and lunch will also be provided at no cost.
Participation in the Global Leadership Summit in August is not a requirement to attend.
