A community discussion about the Affordable Care Act’s health insurance exchange will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the great room at First Presbyterian Church, 2330 S. Main St.
The event is free and open to the public. Jan Ruma and Bill Cook of CareNet will give a presentation on how the healthcare exchange works, how to enroll and where to get assistance.

The community meeting will be preceded by a discussion at 3 p.m. at the church for healthcare providers. Those who are in contact with clients, such as receptionists, secretaries, schedulers and assistants, are encouraged to attend.
March 31 is the deadline to sign up for government-sponsored health insurance.
The events are sponsored by Blanchard Valley Health System, the United Way of Hancock County, the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation and the Hancock County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services.
