The Hancock Historical Museum will host an engineering club for students in third through fifth grade from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning Jan. 29 and continuing through Feb. 26.
Sessions will provide an introduction to engineering through the use of Legos as a way to integrate science, math, engineering and technology. The class is the result of a Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation education grant awarded to retired Findlay City Schools teacher Deb Wickerham and her former fifth-grade student Jon Brumbaugh.
The cost is $30 for museum members and $40 for nonmembers. All students who have an interest in Legos and building are welcome. Participants must register and prepay by Jan. 27. To register, call the museum at 419-423-4433 or visit www.hancockhistoricalmuseum.org.
