OTTAWA — A free health care enrollment clinic will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Putnam County District Library, 136 Putnam Parkway, Ottawa.
The Putnam County Health Department and Putnam County Job and Family Services are partnering with the Ohio Association of Foodbanks to offer the opportunity for residents to receive application assistance provided by trained health care navigators and certified application counselors.
Through the Health Insurance Marketplace set up under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the uninsured and underinsured can compare coverage options, learn about their eligibility for premium tax credits and enroll in a qualified health plan. Open enrollment will continue through March 31.
For an appointment, call 800-648-1176. Ohioans can also visit www.healthcare.gov to apply on their own.
