Triad, a partnership of seniors, government officials, area law enforcement, crime prevention and consumer protection agencies, will meet at the Hancock County Agency on Aging, 339 E. Melrose Ave., at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Deputy Tim Saltzman from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office will discuss Project Lifesaver International.
The nonprofit organization provides training for law enforcement and other public safety agencies on the use of electronic search and rescue equipment for adults and children who wander due to Alzheimer’s, autism or other related conditions.
The meeting is open to the public. No membership is required. All attending may have lunch in the Senior Cafe before the meeting for $5.50. Cafe hours are 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
