The Findlay Service League is offering its annual scholarships to 2014 graduating seniors from Hancock County schools who have demonstrated service to the community by volunteering, practicing good citizenship and leading by example.
Scholarships include the Spirit of Volunteerism and the Patti Bash Memorial Scholarship.
The Bash scholarship was established to honor Patti Bash, who was a service league member from 1983 to 1991, and all of her many years of volunteer service in Hancock County.
Scholarship guidelines and applications are available through the high school guidance counselor offices in all Hancock County schools, the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library, the Findlay-Hancock County Alliance, United Way of Hancock County and online at www.findlayfsl.org.
The application deadline is March 21.
Donations to the scholarship fund may be sent to Findlay Service League, Attn: Scholarship Fund, 1951 W. Sandusky St., Findlay, OH 45840. Checks should be made payable to Findlay Service, with “scholarship donation” written in the memo line.
