The Hancock Historical Museum will host a Night at the Museum March 7.
Children ages eight to 12 are invited to join museum staff and volunteers for an overnight and explore how history comes alive after dark. Activities will include flashlight tours of the museum campus, re-enactors and special guests, crafts, cooking over the hearth in the Crawford log house, a behind-the-scenes look at the museum collections, archaeology, a paranormal investigation and a movie. An evening snack and light breakfast will be provided.
Children may be dropped off at 6 p.m. March 7 and picked up by 8 a.m. the following morning.
The cost for the overnight is $50 per child for museum members, and $60 per child for nonmembers. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Reservations must be received and paid in full by March 6.
