FOSTORIA — The annual Fostoria Kiwanis Club Pancake Day fundraiser will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, which is also Fat Tuesday and National Pancake Day, at the St. Wendelin Parish Life Center, 323 N. Wood St., Fostoria.
Pancake Day is the Fostoria Kiwanis Club’s largest fundraiser.
Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for Golden Buckeye members, $3 for children 5-11 and free for children under 4. Meals include unlimited portions of pancakes as well as sausages, coffee and orange juice.
Raffle tickets will be sold at the breakfast and artwork from local youth will be on display.
All proceeds will go toward the operation of the Fostoria Kiwanis Club.
The club participates in a variety of community projects, especially those catering to children. Activities include providing new school shoes for needy children, offering car seat safety checks, recognizing students of the month from Fostoria, participating in youth and elderly mentoring programs, hosting its annual New Educators Luncheon and community prayer breakfast, and Adopt-A-Highway.
