Findlay First Church of the Nazarene
Gospel Quartet 441 will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Findlay First Church of the Nazarene, 2501 Broad Ave.
The 441 Quartet is so named as it is four men singing for one savior. Group members include baritone Garry Peterson, lead David Marquart, tenor Jon Hocanson and bass Duane Thomas.
The quartet performs Southern gospel, patriotic music, hymn arrangements and some contemporary Christian selections. The group has been singing together since 2008.
Refreshments will be served following the concert.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 2330 S. Main St., will host a community dinner from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday in the church great room.
The menu will feature Irish brisket stew with vegetables, green coleslaw, biscuits/rolls, brownies and green punch.
A trailer from Litter Landing will be available in the lower lot for the weekend to accept recyclable items.
Beginning Sunday, a five-week membership class will be offered. Those looking for a church home are invited to worship at 9:30 a.m. and the class in the church parlor afterward. The class will meet weekly during the Sunday school hour at 10:45 a.m. from March 9 to April 6.
Kids in Christ, for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, meets at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the fellowship hall. The group is currently learning the books of the Bible through stories, games and crafts. Study of the Old Testament will begin Wednesday. Good Shepherd United Methodist
BENTON RIDGE — Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 119 W. Main St., Benton Ridge, will host a mobile food pantry at 9:30 a.m. March 15.
All who have a need are welcome. A representative from each family must be present to receive food.

Pandora-Gilboa churches
PANDORA — Registration for monthly food boxes provided to families in the Pandora-Gilboa school district is due by 5 p.m. March 15.
The food is provided by the churches of Pandora and Gilboa.
To register, call 419-384-3038. Boxes will be available for pick up at 11 a.m. March 29 at Grace Mennonite Church, 502 E. Main St., Pandora.
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran, Jenera
JENERA — Continuing the theme “From Garden to Glory,” Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 N. Main St., Jenera, will hold a Lenten service at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Pastor Bob Krueger from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Findlay, will speak on “The Garden of Promise.” The choir will sing.
Upper Room Church of God
The Steinhour Quartet will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Upper Room Church of God, 520 W. Bigelow Ave.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
The Steinhour “quartet” is comprised of just one man, Isaac Steinhour, a student at Ohio Northern University majoring in international theater production, musical theater and French. Steinhour sings all four parts in the songs he presents.
He travels with his father, Paul Steinhour, a singer/songwriter for over 30 years. Paul Steinhour sang with the Fisherman Quarter in the 1980s and 1990s and is the owner of Harbor Gospel Music Productions. He serves as his son’s manager and sound engineer.
A freewill offering will be accepted for Isaac Steinhour.
