Orchestra earns superior rating

The Findlay High School symphony orchestra received a superior rating in class B at the Ohio Music Education Association’s state orchestra contest Friday in Bowling Green.
A superior is the highest rating that judges can confer on a group at the adjudicated event.
The orchestra performed “Shalom Chavarine,” an Israeli folk song, “Procession of the Sardar” and Bacchanale from “Samson and Delilah.”
The group has 81 members and is led by director Ken Pressel and assistant director Anita Schaible.
