Hancock Saves is offering a five-week course, Small Steps to Health and Wealth, beginning April 21.
Classes will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mondays April 21 through May 19 in the International Room of the Findlay Family YMCA, 300 E. Lincoln St.
The program addresses the problems that many Americans have with health problems, such as diabetes and obesity, and wealth issues, such as high debt and low savings, and teaches research-based strategies for participants to take charge of their future and improve their health and finances. It is offered through a grant from Handbags That Help.
Participants who complete the entire course and return follow-up surveys will be entered into a drawing for prizes valued at more than $500 for health and wealth goals.
Registration may be made online at www.hancocksaves.org, by calling 419-422-3851 or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The registration deadline is April 20, but early registration is recommended as class size is limited.
