VAN BUREN — Van Buren High School’s award-winning show choir, The Association, will present Cabaret 2014 at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the school auditorium.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and K-12 students. They can be purchased in advance at the school’s ticket booth the week of the show from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday through Friday, and from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and a half-hour before each performance. All tickets are for reserved seating.
Cabaret is the annual end-of-year celebration and talent showcase of The Association and The Essentials, the choir’s award-winning instrumental combo. A variety of solo and ensemble music will be presented, from Broadway to rock and roll and country. The choir’s competition show will be featured.
The group is under the direction of James Vaughn, instrumental combo director Richard Eakin, choreographer Shane Coe and business and crew manager Linda Schwemley.
