Helping Hands will hold a meeting, open to the community, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. April 29 at the Dock at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 800 S. Main St.
Helping Hands is a collaborative of local service agencies where community members can be introduced to, learn about and receive services provided in Hancock County; meet agency representatives who can assist community members with their individual needs; make appointments for additional assistance and help improve their overall well-being.
Monthly gatherings were developed out of a need to provide Hancock County residents an opportunity to learn what services are available without having to make an appointment with any specific agency. All Hancock County residents are welcome to attend.
Helping Hands meetings are held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. the last Tuesday of every month, except December, at the Dock.
