Fund established to support mental health programs

Through the collaborative effort of five local mental health agencies, a field of interest fund has been established at the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation to support programs and operations of nonprofit agencies providing services to improve emotional and mental health, including substance abuse prevention and services, to residents of Findlay and Hancock County.
The Community Mental Health Fund will support programs and operations of nonprofit agencies providing services to improve emotional and mental health, including substance abuse prevention and services, to residents of Hancock County. Mental health agencies are encouraged to apply through the foundation’s competitive grant process.
The fund was established by an anonymous donor, according to Precia Stuby, executive director of the Hancock County Adult Drug Addictions and Mental Health Services board.
