ADA — The Ohio Northern University Astronomy Club will host its final public viewing event of the spring, “Saturn Near Opposition,” from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday at the campus observatory.
During opposition, Saturn is optimally positioned for viewing because it is at its closest approach to the earth and rises just as the sun sets. Other targets for the evening will include the crescent moon, Jupiter and Mars.
In case of cloudy skies, check for cancellations on the public events webpage at http://www2.onu.edu/~j-pinkney/astro/publicevents.html.
