Hospital auxiliary awards scholarships

Ten area high school seniors who will graduate this spring and plan to major in health-related fields have received a $1,000 Blanchard Valley Auxiliary scholarship.
This year’s recipients are:
Rebecca Kirian, who will graduate from Arcadia High School and plans to attend the University of Cincinnati and major in dietetics. She is the daughter of Dean and Jane Kirian.
Hyun Woo Suh, a senior at Findlay High School who will attend New York University and major in pre-dental. He is the son of Young Joo and Ji Hyang Suh.
Alexis Simmermeyer, a senior at Findlay High School who will attend Ohio State University and major in biochemistry. She is the daughter of David and Janet Simmermeyer.
Anna Brown, who will graduate from Liberty-Benton High School and plans to attend OSU and major in pre-medicine. Her parents are Lester and Lisa Brown.
Sarah Frendo, a Liberty-Benton senior who will attend Ohio Northern University and major in biology. She is the daughter of Paul and Lana Frendo.
Edyn Mowrey, a senior at St. Wendelin High School who plans to attend Notre Dame College of Ohio and major in nursing. She is the daughter of Lance and Mary Beth Kennedy-Mowrey.
Elizabeth Weaver, who will graduate from St. Wendelin High School and plans to attend John Carroll University with a major in pre-health professions. Her parents are John and Elaine Weaver.
Madison Endicott, a senior at Van Buren High School who will attend Ashland University and major in exercise science. She is the daughter of Jeff and Brenda Endicott.
Robyn Flick, a senior at Van Buren High School who plans to attend Ashland University and major in nursing. She is the daughter of Steve and Brenda Flick.
Drew Patterson, a senior at Van Buren High School who will be attending Belmont University and majoring in pre-dental. His parents are Chris and Dana Patterson.
