Nominations sought for festival’s royalty contests

FOREST — Nominations are being accepted for the Tree Town Festival’s royalty contests.
The festival will be held July 11-13 in Gormley Park, Forest.
There will be three competitions: prince and princess, king and queen and festival baby. Winners will be chosen by the most festival tickets sold by the contestants.
Prince and princess contestants must be in the fourth, fifth and sixth grade and may be any Riverdale School student. Any fourth- through sixth-grade student with a Forest address is also eligible. The winner will receive a $100 gift card and must sell at least 100 tickets to qualify for the prize.
The king and queen contestants must be a 2014 Riverdale School sophomore, junior or senior. Additionally, any sophomore through senior student with a Forest address is eligible. The winner will receive a $150 gift card and must sell at least 150 tickets to qualify for the prize.
Babies must be under 3 years of age by July 1 to be entered in the baby contest. The winner will receive a $100 gift card and the family of the child must sell at least 100 tickets to qualify for the prize. Babies must also be from a Forest address. Grandparents with a Forest address may also enter their grandchildren.
