The Findlay Art League is offering an array of art classes for adults and children age 8 and up during June and July.
Students will meet for 90 minutes each of four mornings, for a total of six hours of instruction per session. The fee is $65.
Instructors are Crystal Bowman, Louise Wineland, Alexandria Prater and Bob Minto. Class offerings include mixed media, abstract art, watercolor painting, print making, optical illusions, pop-up art, 3-D paper sculptures, foil embossing, felt flower making, Zentangle-inspired art and manga and comic making.
Classes will be held in the art league’s education room or the gallery at 117 W. Crawford St. and will run from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. or from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Classes that have more than one session will offer different activities for each session, so students can sign up for more than one session of the same class.
Registration forms and tuition fees are due on the first day of classes. There is a minimum number of students required for a class to run, so early registration is requested by calling Crystal Bowman at 419-423-6729 or by emailing her at email@example.com.
A Clay Creations class will be offered at Minto’s studio. The fee is $35 for one three-hour session on Friday mornings throughout the summer. To schedule, call Minto at 419-204-9722 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For more information, visit the Findlay Art League website at www.findlayartleague.com or pick up a brochure at the gallery during the May Show, which is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
