Homeowners sought for ‘little library’ project

Marathon Petroleum Corp.’s corporate health, environmental, safety and security department and the University of Findlay’s Clubhouse Reading Center are partnering to offer “Little Free Libraries” in four neighborhoods in Findlay/Hancock County.
A Little Free Library is a box about the size and shape of an oversized mailbox that is placed in a yard and holds books that neighbors can share at no cost. The idea behind the project is to get people to read more.
The library units will be installed at private residences at no cost to the homeowner in four different areas. The only requirements are that the person hosting the library owns the home where the library will be placed and has a front yard that can accommodate the library.
