Demonstrations to be featured at Crawford Street Market

In addition to its usual fare, the Crawford Street Market will feature food and artist demonstrations on Saturday.
From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Kelly Greene, hostess of WFIN-AM’s Phoneclub, will prepare uncooked tomato sauce and a pasta and steak salad, using products from several of the market’s vendors.
The Wellspring Health & Nutrition Store will give a demonstration of organic cooking from 11 a.m. to noon. Various artists will be displaying and demonstrating from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The market, held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday in the parking lot of the Findlay Municipal Building on West Crawford Street, regularly offers locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs; jams, honey, salsa and baked goods; bedding plants and potted plants; art and handmade clothing and other items created locally; and lotions, soaps and makeup.
Parking is available in the lots west of the Municipal Building, at the corner of Crawford Street and South West Street.
Anyone interested in selling at the Crawford Street Market can download guidelines and vendor registration form at DowntownFindlay.com/about, or can call Maria Reza at 419-422-3313 for more information.
