As part of the activities for the Hancock County Fair’s 75th anniversary, there will be a different flower show each day from Aug. 27-30.
The fair will also feature garden club flower displays as in past years.
Entry costs will be $1 for each arrangement. Entries must be taken to the Grange Building by 10 a.m. on the day of the show. Judging will be at 11 a.m. Premiums of $3, $2 and $1 will be awarded in each category judged. Additionally, the best of show will be selected each day with a rosette ribbon award.
The schedule includes: Aug. 27, arrangements made with “Diamond Frost” euphorbia to honor the 75th anniversary; Aug. 28, roses; Aug. 29, daylilies; and Aug. 30, arrangements with the theme of “Down on the Farm.”
