The American Red Cross Hancock County Chapter is accepting applications for AmeriCorps openings in Hancock, Seneca and Wyandot counties.
Team members will participate in disaster response and preparedness activities, community disaster education and volunteer recruitment. Members will receive a living allowance, health care coverage, free training and the Segal Education award upon completion of the service year. All applicants must be available to begin serving in September.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old; be a U.S. citizen or legal resident (a birth certificate and Social Security card is required); have a high school diploma, have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record; and be available to complete 1,700 hours of service within 12 months (an average of 35-37 per week).
