Michael Needler Jr., chair of this year’s United Way of Hancock County’s annual fundraising campaign, will host a kickoff breakfast from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sept. 5 in the parking lot at Great Scot, 2021 Broad Ave.
Needler is the president and chief executive officer at Fresh Encounter, owner of Great Scot Community Markets.
The event is free and open to the public. It will include breakfast, speakers, displays by United Way partner agencies and a live radio remote with radio stations WKXA, WFIN and WBUK.
