Scheduled for the first Thursday of each month visit the Hancock Historical Museum for a variety of informative and educational presentations on a wide range of topics relevant to Findlay and Hancock County Ohio. Bring your lunch and enjoy learning about our community from a diverse group of presenters. Brown bags are free for museum members and $5 for nonmembers. Lunches from Main St. Deli are available for purchase for an additional $5.50. Lunches include sandwich, chips, cookie and drink.

Every year, Winebrenner hosts the Global Leadership Summit, a two day live telecast event. Experience the level of leadership development at this preview luncheon and hear an inspiring talk from Jack Groppel, PhD, Co-Founder of Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute. This event is free to the public, and all who attend will receive a special discount code for their 2015 GLS ticket. Lunch will be provided.

The show will feature spring crafts, jewelry, glass and ceramic items, pottery, baked goods and sweet treats, yard art and wooden creations. All items are hand-crafted. Breast cancer awareness items will also be available. Coffee and doughnuts will be provided by Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomdale. The show has been organized by Clare Bohn as a fundraiser for Cancer Patient Services in Findlay. Bohn is a breast cancer survivor who has benefited from services offered by Cancer Patient Services and wanted to give back to the agency. All table rent from the 27 crafters will be given to the agency and additional donations will be accepted. There will also be a raffle to benefit the agency. Cancer Patient Services provides mileage reimbursement to and from doctors’ appointments and chemotherapy treatments, nutritional aids, medical supplies and wigs, as well as financial assistance for prescriptions and medical bills. Services are available to anyone who lives or works in Hancock County.

Come to walk the walk in downtown Bowling Green on April 25 to enjoy live music and artwork in a wide range of media at the annual Downtown Art Walk. This rite of spring in BG features the second annual Black Swamp Quilters Guild exhibit and the popular Fashion Food and Fine Art Luncheon, a fundraiser for The Downtown Foundation’s Flower Fund. The $20 luncheon ticket includes a 90-minute fashion show, the choice of three entrees, iced tea and table favors. There is one seating at 11:45 a.m. A feature of this year’s Art Walk is a day-long open house at The Lofts luxury apartments, hosted by the Wood County Hospital Guild. The Friends of the Wood County District Public Library are hosting their semi-annual book sale April 25-26. Gallery maps will be available at participating locations the week before the event.
