Scheduled for the first Thursday of each month visit the Hancock Historical Museum for a variety of informative and educational presentations on a wide range of topics relevant to Findlay and Hancock County Ohio. Bring your lunch and enjoy learning about our community from a diverse group of presenters. Brown bags are free for museum members and $5 for nonmembers. Lunches from Main St. Deli are available for purchase for an additional $5.50. Lunches include sandwich, chips, cookie and drink.

Tiffin Historic Trust Victorian-era teas feature a unique program and menu for each event. The teas include homemade delicacies such as fancy sandwiches, pastries, fruit and candy, as well as two kinds of tea. “A Haunting Good Time” is the final tea. Guests are welcome to tour the Victorian-era home containing original belongings of the Grammes and Brown families, including the china table settings used for the teas. Due to limited space, reservations are required. Members of the Historic Trust are eligible for a discount.

The Hancock Historical Museum will host the 13th annual “Spirits Arise: Maple Grove Lantern Tour,” given by the Living History Troupe, on Sunday, Oct. 19. The walking tours take visitors through the historic areas of the cemetery to visit the graves of prominent local residents portrayed by historical re-enactors. The tours will begin every 20 minutes. The tour takes approximately one hour. Space is limited and advance tickets are required.
