The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the Alzheimer’s Association’s largest awareness and fundraising event! Registration/Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. Walk: 11 a.m. Lunch is provided.

Join Owens Community College for the Ready, Set, Go! 5K Run/Walk! All proceeds from the event will go toward a newly-established Emergency Student Fund Program. These funds will support Findlay Campus students who encounter an unexpected financial burden that threatens to impede their ability to continue their education. Participants are encouraged to seek donations to assist in fundraising efforts. Race start time is 9:00 a.m. Children 10 and under may participate in this 0.6 mile run around campus. The Fun Run will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Vintage afternoon tea is being held at the historic 1867 Jones Mansion in Findlay. The proceeds of this event will benefit the 501(c)3 non profit Grace Speaks, which is providing affordable private speech therapy to the children of Hancock County. Enjoy tasty treat and tea in this historical restored mansion while learning about its past. Silent auction and raffle items will be available. Space is limited to the first 80 people to purchase their tickets.

The Wyandot County Fair is an important family event with business displays, rides, culinary displays, animals, 4-H, FFA, Grange, and scouting booths and “fair food,” it is a great place to see friends . Taking place in the fall, it is one of the final events capping off a summer of town festivals in Upper Sandusky, Carey, Nevada, Forest, Wharton, and Sycamore.
