Just in time for the holidays, join the Hancock Park District to make some “new” ornaments and decorations! Participants will have the opportunity to make a holiday card globe, canning lid ornaments, paint and stamp flag, holiday card magnets, gift tags and more. Register with $5 to make a set of ornaments by Tuesday, December 2.

The Village of Mount Blanchard presents “Christmas in the Village.” Santa and his elves arrive downtown in the parade via fire truck. Children may visit Santa in an historic building at the square in the center of town. At “Santa’s House”, Santa will be sitting in a sleigh from the 1800s. A photographer will be taking pictures of Santa and children for a small fee that benefits beautification projects in the village. At the town hall will be a variety of vendors for Christmas shopping. Check out the many beautiful craft and home items. Also, horse drawn wagon rides, kids’ crafts, music, a live nativity, story telling and food vendors will be on hand!

The Putnam Association of Railfans will host a model railroad show and swap meet at the Allen County Fairgrounds. The show will feature all gauges, railfan items, toy trains, operating layouts, free parking and food concessions. Coffee and doughnuts will be provided free to exhibitors until 10 a.m.
