Tea & Tales: “Introduction to Essential Oils” will be presented at 1:30 p.m. March 22 at 50 North by Registered Nurse and wellness advocate Barb Deerwester, who will share an informative presentation on the basics of using essential oils. Tiffin University will present a women’s leadership conference from 5-8:30 p.m. March 22 in the Marion Center. The keynote address, “Aspire Higher,” will be delivered by TU alumna Ronette “Roni” Burkes, warden at the Ohio Reformatory in Marysville and Ohio’s 2016 Warden of the Year award recipient. Also included is a workshop on conflict resolution conducted by president Lillian Schumacher and “table topics” addressing situational leadership, negotiation strategies, work-load distribution and financial literacy. Jacobs Primary School Principal Krista Miller will give a presentation on the Leader in Me program Wednesday, March 22, at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library. Leader in Me helps students practice the habits in “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.” Miller will review the program, its implementation and its results. The presentation will be in the Lindamood Room from 6 to 7:30 p.m. No registration is required.

Spring Constellations @ Discovery Center at Oakwoods Nature Preserve

A program on spring constellations will be held in the Hancock Park District’s inflatable planetarium at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Discovery Center at Oakwoods Nature Preserve. The family program is free, but requires registration by 4:30 p.m. Tuesday because of limited space. The program will be held with a minimum of six and a maximum of 25 participants.
