Seniors Singing Out @ 50 North
May 26 @ 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm

50 North will host a new program, S20 — Seniors Singing Out, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursdays.

Seniors are invited to share their voices in a variety of musical styles and themes. Performance opportunities will be available with seasonal concerts. No memorization is required.

The group is directed by Celia Stockton. There is no charge to participate.

Friends of the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Lindamood Room.

The keynote speaker will be Sharon Mason, library technical services manager. She will present behind the scenes operations of how books are ordered and placed on the shelves.

Monthly Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series @ Hancock Historical Museum

Scheduled for the first Thursday of each month visit the Hancock Historical Museum for a variety of informative and educational presentations on a wide range of topics relevant to Findlay and Hancock County Ohio.  Bring your lunch and enjoy learning about our community from a diverse group of presenters. Brown bags are free for museum members and $5 for nonmembers. Lunches from Main St. Deli are available for purchase for an additional $5.50.  Lunches include sandwich, chips, cookie and drink.

Plein Air Gathering @ Riverbend Recreation Area

The next plein air gathering, which allows artists to paint or draw outdoors in the parks, will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. June 2 at Riverbend Recreation Area.

The free program, hosted by Hancock Park District, is for teens and adults who use any medium conducive to working outdoors. Participants should bring supplies and equipment and dress for ground and weather conditions. No registration is necessary.

A coordinator will be available to answer questions and provide assistance. If it rains, the session will be cancelled. Participants should meet at the north end of the Big Oaks parking lot.

Exchange Club of Findlay Meeting @ Rosewood Room at Henderson Dining Hall

Exchange Club of Findlay is an all-volunteer, national service organization for men and women who want to serve their community, develop leadership skills and enjoy new friendships.
