21st Annual Victorian Christmas Dinner @ Carrothers House at the University of Findlay
Dec 12 @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

The Hancock Historical Museum is proud to announce the 21st annual Victorian Christmas Dinner, to be held at Carrothers Home, the president’s residence at the University of Findlay.

Guests to the Victorian Christmas Dinner will enjoy more than just a meal, but a true experience! Guests will be greeted at Carrothers Home by coachmen and butler. Guests may tour the home prior to the meal while enjoying old-fashioned “wassail” and appetizers. A four course meal will follow, with Cornish hen as the entrée. Each guest will enjoy a variety of traditional homemade “savories” following the meal, including sugarplums, mints, candied orange and grapefruit peel, spiced pecans, and pulled taffy. Christmas carolers and instrumentalists will provide entertainment throughout the evening.

The Victorian Christmas Dinner Committee sees to the historic authenticity of every detail, including the many handmade decorations. Come experience the tastes, the sounds, and the smells of this favorite event.
