Jim Harrold has been managing editor of The Courier for more than 30 years. The managing editor is in charge of the newsroom at night, when news and sports pages are produced. Harrold started working at The Courier as a reporter in 1976 after graduating from Albion College in Michigan. Two years later, he became city editor, and was named managing editor in 1981. He lives in a 100-year-old farmhouse near Rawson.
