Training set for Read for Life volunteer tutors

Read for Life will hold volunteer tutor training from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 21 in the Lindamood Room at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library.
Read For Life is an adult literacy program which provides free reading and math instruction to adults with low literacy skills or are working toward a GED.
Prospective volunteers should be interested in and able to relate to a wide variety of people and be literate themselves, although no professional training is needed.
One to two hours of instruction per week is suggested. Volunteers are asked to make a one-year commitment to the program.
Anyone 18 or older who lives or works in Hancock County can receive Read for Life tutoring assistance by calling 419-425-3515.
