Micah Hyde to visit Fostoria

FOSTORIA — Micah Hyde, a former Fostoria High School football standout who now plays professionally for the Green Bay Packers, will visit the Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria at 6 p.m. March 26 in an effort to help raise funds for Good Shepherd’s “Therapy for All” campaign.
The campaign is raising money for a new physical therapy wing at the home which will be available to residents as well as the community upon referral of a physician.
After graduating from Fostoria High School in 2009, Hyde played at the University of Iowa where he was a first-team All-Big 10 selection his senior year. In his rookie season with Green Bay he returned punts and kicks and played defensive back in helping the team make the NFL playoffs.
Tickets for Hyde’s visit are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Individual tickets include a photo, autograph and dinner. Table sponsorships are available for $500 and include a table for eight as well as a group photograph, a “cheese head” hat and preferred seating.
Hyde’s Fostoria High School football coach, Tom Grine, will be the keynote speaker. All proceeds will benefit the “Therapy for All” campaign.
