This year’s Justice Sunday program will raise awareness and understanding of food sovereignty and food security. The program will highlight sustainable gardening models developed with human rights partners in Haiti.
Justice Sunday 2014 challenges congregations around the country to build demonstration food gardens and/or raise funds for food gardens in urban areas of Haiti. Each $250 raised for the program will enable one Haitian family to receive training and materials for their gardens, grow their own food and achieve food sovereignty and sustainability.
A collection will be taken to help fund the program.
