Shinn to lead Town and Campus

Pam Shinn was elected president of Town and Campus at the group’s March 10 meeting.
Other officers for the 2014″”15 club year include: Doyne Frommer, first vice president; Sondra Malcolm, second vice president; Susan Williams, secretary; and Jeanne Wasbro, treasurer.
The club will host its 54th annual spring brunch at 10:30 a.m. April 8 at the University of Findlay’s Village Cafe. Seven $1,000 scholarships will be presented to current UF students.
Sons of the American Revolution
Irene Putnam has received the National Society, Sons of the American Revolution’s Martha Washington Medal which is presented to women who have provided outstanding contributions to a chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.
Putnam’s husband, Thomas, is the treasurer of the Findlay-based John Hancock Chapter.
She was presented the award at a joint meeting of the Northwest District of the Ohio Society, Sons of the American Revolution, which includes all chapters in northwestern Ohio.
The Sons of the American Revolution is a society of men who have documented blood lineage to an individual that supported the cause of independence between 1775-1883.
