The Hancock County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services is offering several mental health first aid trainings.
Participants will learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.
Trainings will be offered:
April 24 and April 25, 8 a.m. to noon, St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, room 201, 120 W. Sandusky St. The registration deadline is April 18.
May 16 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and May 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the University of Findlay, Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion Malcolm Dining Room. Registration deadline is May 9.
June 12 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and June 13 from 8 a.m. to noon, St. Andrew’s. Registration deadline is June 6.
Sept. 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., University of Findlay. Registration deadline is Sept. 19.
Space is limited to 25 participants at each training.
