Christian Clearing House names executive director

Tammy Stahl has been appointed as the new executive director of the Christian Clearing House.
“Tammy’s knowledge, dedication, and proven leadership within the organization make her the ideal choice as our next executive director. We value Tammy’s commitment and enthusiasm for our mission to provide non-sustaining, emergency assistance to the people of Hancock County and to collaborate with the churches, social service agencies, and individuals in the community,” said Dick Stephens, president of Christian Clearing House’s board of directors.
Stahl has over 10 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations, including the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio. Most recently she was the marketing director for Christian Clearing House, a position she has held since 2007.
She has served as a volunteer with local organizations including the Hancock Youth Leadership Association board, Hancock County Coordinating Council and Special Olympics. She is a member of Handbags that Help and was also a member of the Community Foundation’s Schneider Circle.
In 2012, Stahl received the Community Impact Award from the Hancock County Coordinating Council recognizing her work as a leader who has significantly impacted the community and provided outstanding contributions to the social service field in Hancock County.
She succeeds Gene Kelsey, who announced his retirement in August.
