Activity day planned for kids, parents

OTTAWA — A free program for Putnam County children, ages birth to 5, and their parents, will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Putnam County Educational Service Center in Ottawa.
The afternoon will include arts and crafts, activities, story time and snacks. Children will be given books to take home.
The event is sponsored by the Putnam County Early Childhood Committee, which is comprised of representatives of the Putnam County Educational Service Center; Help Me Grow; Job and Family Services; the Women, Infants and Children program; Brookhill Board of Developmental Disabilities; Family and Children First Council; Putnam County Health Department; Pathways’ Putnam County Library;YMCA; Ohio State University Extension and United Way.
