Heritage Christian students compete

Students from Heritage Christian School competed in the Buckeye Christian School Association Fine Arts Competition held in March.
Heritage had 40 students compete in 380 events. They received first place in highest point total, second in industrial arts and academic testing, and third in highest average points and also in art.
Matthew Beal received first place in the highest male competitor award, with Winfield Oestreich receiving second place and Jordan Beal third place.
Students who received first place in each category were able to compete in the annual American Association of Christian Schools National Competition at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. April 8-10.
Students representing Heritage were Matthew Beal, Jordan Beal, Rebecca LaMancusa, Josiah Long, Oestreich, Abigail Schultz, Daniel Trantham, Maria Trejo and Sarah Wright.
