Golf for Kids’ Sake scramble slated in June

OTTAWA — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Putnam County will host its third annual Golf for Kids’ Sake four-person golf scramble at 1 p.m. June 29 at Pike Run golf course.
Golfers, sponsors and volunteers are sought. The event will include a battle of businesses, hole-in-one opportunities and drawings for 20 chicken wings a month for a year or a pizza a month for a year.
The cost to participate is $55 per person. Players will be provided with a round of golf, two carts, range balls, prize bags, two drink tickets and two meals.
All proceeds will stay in Putnam County for one-on-one adult/child mentoring and a school-based program involving high school students.
