Good Hope Lutheran, Redeemer Lutheran

ARLINGTON — Good Hope Lutheran Church, 300 S. Main St., Arlington, will join with Redeemer Lutheran Church in Findlay for a vacation Bible school Monday through Friday at the Arlington church.
The theme is “Bible Camp.” Sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by lunch for the whole family until 11:30 a.m.
Students will learn about the Ten Commandments, the 23rd Psalm, the Lord’s Prayer, the 12 disciples and the Fruits of the Spirit.
Singing, games, crafts and activities will be held each day.
On June 22, the students will present a program during Good Hope’s 10 a.m. worship service. A free hog roast, sponsored by the men of Good Hope, will immediately follow the service.

Harvest Time International Ministries
Harvest Time International Ministries, 237 George St., will host a flea market from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today.
Breakfast burritos will be sold in the morning and Mexican food will be sold for lunch.
All proceeds will help fund the congregation’s summer social awareness crusade.

Hoytville UM
HOYTVILLE — The Declaration Trio will present a concert at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Hoytville United Methodist Church, 19921 E. Church St., Hoytville.
The trio specializes in southern gospel music.

Mount Blanchard UM
MOUNT BLANCHARD — The Mount Blanchard United Methodist Church will celebrate Father’s Day Sunday.
During the 10:30 a.m. worship service, fathers will be honored and will have the chance to win door prizes.

Rawson New Hope UM
RAWSON — Pastor Ben Lowell and his wife, Judy, will assume the duties at Rawson New Hope United Methodist Church, effective June 29.
Lowell has served pastorates in Van Buren, Marion, Marietta, Columbus, Bettsville and Shiloh. He has also served as a hospital and hospice chaplain at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
A fellowship luncheon will follow the 10 a.m. service June 29 to welcome the couple.

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran, Jenera
JENERA — Beginning Tuesday, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 N. Main St., Jenera, will offer an additional service for the summer.
The Tuesday evening services, a shortened version of the Sunday service, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday services will continue at the usual times of 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday school and Bible classes for all ages begin at 9:20 a.m.

Unitarian Universalist
Carole Elchert will be the featured speaker at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 2415 N. Main St., at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Her presentation “The Father” will attempt to capture the interior life of a father of 15 children and his triumphant final revelation, on the night he died, the early morning of Father’s Day.
Elchert’s presentation is taken from her blog, Anonymous Triumphs, which highlights the invisible triumphs that may be discovered by listening deeply and writing expansively about someone’s life story.
