Youtheatre to present radio show July 4

The Red, White and Blue Radio Hour, featuring Youtheatre participants, will be broadcast at 9 a.m. on Friday on WFIN-AM.
Youths in grades four through 12 will present patriotic music and the humorous tale, “Sam Spade — The Flopsy Mopsy and the Cottontail Caper.”
The cast and technical crew includes: Shelby Blair, Landon Bott, Mason Clouse, Jonah Crafts, Jack Detmer, Paige Eisaman, Jeremy Gobrogge, Trey Hall, Lily Keller, Mya Lunguy, Shea McMaster, Andrew Pueschel, Courtney Rinesmith, Lauren Selhorst, Kirsten Selhorst, Landon Smith and Suzi Zuver.
The project provides the Youtheatre students with an opportunity to learn how old-time radio shows were produced, including how to make and incorporate live sound effects.
The performance was previously presented at the Fort Findlay Playhouse before a live audience and also aired live on WFIN.
The Red, White and Blue Radio Hour is produced in conjunction with WFIN and the Fort Findlay Playhouse. The program also received support from the Charles J. Younger Fund and the Allan H. Davis Fund of the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation.
