Benefit planned for family left homeless after fire

A benefit for the family of Cynthia and Mario Hernandez, of Findlay, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Park.
The family has been homeless since a house fire on July 18. Friends of the family are holding the benefit to raise money to help the Hernandezes with expenses, including getting their children what they need for school.
There is no admission charge to attend. Many items will be auctioned, a 50/50 drawing will be held and food will be available for a donation. Monetary donations as well as clothing and supplies will also be accepted for the family.
Anyone wanting to donate can contact Ryan at 567-208-7153 or Jennier at 419-306-0586.
